Object naming in ProxyGen

Open Client interface generation requires the mapping of 4GL identifier names to names appropriate for the specific Open Client interface. This includes restricting the use of certain characters and reserved words.

ProxyGen determines the default names of Open Client interface methods and parameters from the r-code filename and its contents. These names conform to the Open Client interface naming conventions and automatic conversions described in the following sections.

Note: You can override the default names for Open Client interface methods by customizing the procedure in ProxyGen.
